About this course:

We are excited to announce that Torri Wright (MA, Sped) has put together a concise and potent mini-training on the topic of 'Best Practice for Collecting Behavioural Data' which we are offering for FREE to agencies and care providers serving the IDD & NDIS recipient space!

There have been numerous amazing care organisations which the BEHCA team has supported through this past year which have all had a similar desire for education around how best to approach and understand the complex landscape of behaviour which they have observed from their clients and residents. We offer this training to serve this need for those who have the same questions and strive to be the best in their field!

This course will touch on the topics of:

  • Why collect data and finding the story
  • Witnessing the individual + Empathy
  • What measurable & observable CAN be
  • Warning Signs vs Crisis
  • How data shapes self-awareness & self-accountability
  • Real-World-Examples & testing interventions
  • Influencing Variables & best practice considerations
  • Building the hypothesis and shift perspectives

If there is interest in diving deeper into topics mentioned we welcome you to look over our full length on-demand training workshops and to reach out and let us know if there are other topics you'd like to hear more about!
